| A kitchen table and dining room before de-cluttering. | The space is de-cluttered, everything has a home, and the room is ready for the next holiday meal. | |

| Working side by side with a wonderful 10 year-old girl in her room, we assess what has to take place in order for her to become more organized. | In one afternoon, we remove
everything she is no longer using, separate
magazines and store them in labeled containers,
separate books by language and subject matter, and
re-zone the room according to use.
She can now invite friends over again. |

Moving along to the rest of the room... |
Now the space is streamlined and she can read and do homework without distractions and have an easier time getting dressed.

| A spare bedroom which was recently converted to an office has too much visual clutter and not enough storage. | We evaluate each piece of paper, shred the discards, and organize the office supplies. We re-situate the equipment and files so that the work area is more comfortable and efficient. | |

Interior Redesign |

| This beautiful living room contained a collection of artwork and accessories from Africa and the Far East but the collection was not shown off to its full potential. The room contained too much furniture, the decorative cabinet on the left competed with the fireplace as a focal point, the traffic pattern needed improvement and the remaining furniture needed to be conversationalized. | We redesigned the fireplace mantle area to restore it as the focal point of the room and give it a more balanced look. The table and mirror on the right were removed and replaced with a lower, more decorative table. We flanked the fireplace with decorative wall accessories, stored extra seating against the wall and conveniently positioned the nesting tables under the window. Task lighting was reconfigured to create a reading nook. | |

| This foyer contained lovely pieces of furniture and artwork but the feeling upon entering the house was not warm or welcoming. | We streamlined the space, selected different artwork and used the rest of the wall to store additional seating. | |

| This corner of the living room needed a facelift to wake it up and make it more inviting. | We removed the table, repositioned the "comfy" chair, provided task lighting and re-hung the artwork in the bedroom hallway, foyer and living room. Nesting tables were repositioned to be used there or elsewhere in the room. The corner now invites visitors to come, sit and stay. | |

| We re-hung artwork against the right wall of the foyer to provide a showcase area at the entrance to the bedroom hallway | We re-hung pieces from the living room in the hallway to eliminate the "bowling alley" effect that existed previously because of the absence of wall hangings. | |

| There were four issues that needed to be addressed: The height of the table and size of the mirror overpowered the fireplace, the lighting was misplaced and the mirror reflected a long hallway. | We took a pair of "angels" to flank the fireplace and used a lower and smaller cabinet to visually support the wall art. Balance has now been restored. | |
| This is a downstairs family room used mainly by the teenagers. The client hired us to redesign the walls using a collection of approximately 50 pieces of her artwork to choose from. | We decide to hang 16 pieces of animation artwork to enhance the walls and create a mini collection look. The room suddenly comes alive. | |

| This two-story foyer lacks pizzazz. This client wanted to make her new construction house feel more like a home and hired us to work some magic. | Following the architecture of the space, we design according to scale and create a welcoming look. | |
This dining room was also being used as a computer work station. The client hired us to restore it to a dining room and redesign the space. |
Working with the client, we removed everything she no longer used or liked. Then we put the design aspect into place by re-situating the furniture, re-hanging the artwork and introducing greenery as an accent.
| (View from the foyer) | Furniture is now in balance, the room is functional and the artwork and greenery are strategically placed to pull the room together. | |

| This sideboard was meant to be decorative but ended up being a repository. | We redesigned the space by flanking the centerpiece with topiaries and re-hung artwork from the client's collection above the sideboard. | |
| |
| This was a beautiful room, but the furniture was unbalanced and there was a "hole" in the room when you walk in. | We switched the foyer table with one in another room, closed in the space to make it more conversational, created a tablescape design and added an area rug to anchor the seating area. | |
| |
| The drop-leaf table was out of scale with the room and the wall above the mantle called for a rectangular piece of artwork. We shopped around the house to find more suitable pieces for the room. | We replaced the drop-leaf table with a desk, created a reading nook beside the fireplace and created a new walking area between the living room and the sliders to the deck. | |
| |
| This lovely 1775 farmhouse lacked some charm on the inside. | We accessorized the room, borrowing from other rooms, resituated some furniture and made the room more inviting. | |
| |
| The table seemed to float in the middle of the living room. | We anchored the seating area by placing an area rug under the table, re-accessorized the table, and moved the ottoman closer to the seating area to make it more inviting and cozy. | |

Staged To Sell |

| The owner of this garden apartment in NJ found a great condo in Manhattan and had to sell quickly. There was no formal dining room so we had to create a dedicated space for dining. | We removed the baker's rack , resituated the chairs, re-hung other pieces of artwork and created a focal point by using decorative branches. The apartment sold very quickly. | |
| The homeowner had a beautiful collection of blown glass from Italy but it created a distraction to the potential home buyer. | We removed most of her glass collection, redesigned the room to make it sleek and elegant and redirected the focal back to the architecture itself. Now potential buyers will see the whole room as opposed to hyper-focusing on the seller's beautiful accessories. | |
| This part of the formal living room looked unfinished and the end table was out of balance with the existing furniture. | We tied a look together by relocating the pictures that were hung over the mantle and repurposed a table that was in keeping with the scale of the sofa. | |

| The sofa intersected the opening to the dining nook and we had to draw the eye away from the air conditioning unit in order to attract buyer interest. | We unblocked the opening to the dining room and relocated an armoire that was in an awkward space elsewhere in the apartment to make it a focal point. | |

| This formal room lacked a focal point, and the artwork was not visually supported by furniture. | We opened up the walkway to the formal dining room, used an antique piece to create a focal point and added some accessories. | |

| We had to stage this house quickly because the owner purchased a property and had to move. This room off the master bedroom was empty, so we had to give it a purpose. | We relocated furniture that was crowding other rooms and created a relaxation area, thus defining the room. | |
| |
| The furniture in this dining room was out of scale with the room. | We switched the dining table and sideboard with pieces that were more appropriate for the space and re-hung some artwork. | |
| |
| This foyer was completely unwelcoming to a potential buyer so we had to quickly and dramatically transform the space. | We took the original sideboard from the dining room, removed the side chairs, introduced some greenery and accessorized the table. | |
| |
| This furniture was awkwardly placed. | We moved furniture pieces to create a conversation area, anchored the space with an area rug and created a reading corner. | |

| We designed a custom mantle scape and added various holiday accents to this warm and cozy room. | No chandelier is left undecorated for the holidays. We added a spray of greens and red berries, gold roping with beautiful tassels, custom candlestick accents and a bird. | |
